The primary goal of the Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) is to meet the firefighting and emergency response needs of fire departments. Las Cruces Fire Department is awarded a FEMA Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response Grants (SAFER). LCFD received $1,287,336 for hiring new firefighters.
The GPO Program allows its members to join together to leverage purchasing strength in order to acquire goods and services at lower prices.
